What's In a Scoop

• Caffeine — 320mg — roughly three coffees in one scoop. This is firmly high-stimulant territory and the reason Total War has the reputation it does.
• Citrulline Malate — 6g — the pump ingredient at a genuine clinical dose. Citrulline converts to arginine in the kidneys, raising nitric oxide production and widening blood vessels for better blood flow, oxygen delivery and metabolic waste clearance. Most pre-workouts run 2–4g; 6g is the researched range.
• Beta-Alanine — 3.2g — the exact clinical dose. Beta-alanine raises intramuscular carnosine, buffering the hydrogen ions that cause the burn and force you to stop a set. The tingle is unmistakable at this dose.

Where 320mg of Caffeine Sits

Most healthy adults tolerate up to about 400mg of caffeine daily across all sources. One scoop of Total War uses 80% of that budget.

Practical implications: don't drink much coffee on days you take it, don't stack it with another caffeinated product, and don't train late on it. Caffeine's half-life is 5–6 hours, so 320mg at 6pm still leaves around 160mg in your system at midnight. Sleep is where training adaptation actually happens — losing it costs more than the session gains.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my powder hard?

Citrulline and beta-alanine are hygroscopic — they pull moisture from the air, and at the doses Total War uses that makes clumping likely, especially in a humid climate or after time in storage. It doesn't affect how the product works. Break it up with a clean, dry spoon before scooping and keep the lid sealed.

Why do I get the tingles?

Beta-alanine at 3.2g — the full clinical dose. Paraesthesia across the face, neck and hands is normal, arrives around 15 minutes in, and fades within half an hour. It reduces with regular use and isn't an allergic reaction.

Is 320mg too much caffeine?

It's a lot. If you're coming from a 150–200mg pre-workout, start on half a scoop. If you drink coffee through the day, count it — you'll be at your daily ceiling quickly.

Can I use it every session?

You can, but tolerance builds fast at this dose and you'll get less from it over time. Two or three times a week keeps it working.

Does it contain creatine?

Total War is built around energy, pump and endurance rather than creatine. Creatine works through daily muscle saturation, so take it separately and every day rather than only before sessions.
