Why EAAs Beat BCAAs

This is the most useful thing to understand about amino supplements, and it explains why EAA Complete+ is built the way it is.

There are nine essential amino acids — ones your body cannot produce and must obtain from food. BCAAs are three of them: leucine, isoleucine and valine.

Building muscle protein requires all nine. Leucine is the trigger — it activates the mTOR pathway that switches muscle protein synthesis on — but a trigger without ammunition doesn't build anything. Supplying BCAAs alone signals your body to build while withholding six of the amino acids it needs to actually do it.

Can I use it on rest days?
