BCAAs or EAAs — which do I need?
BCAAs (leucine, isoleucine, valine) are the three most critical for muscle protein synthesis and are the fastest option during training. EAAs include those three plus six more. If you're getting adequate protein from food and shakes, BCAAs cover the intra-workout window well. If overall protein intake is low, an EAA product fills the broader gap.
