The three branched-chain amino acids aren't equally important, and the ratio reflects that.

Does it replace protein powder?

No. 7g of free-form BCAAs is not the same as 24g of complete protein. There are nine essential amino acids and BCAAs are only three of them — this supplements a diet that already has enough protein in it.

Can I drink it on rest days?

You can, and the hydration is useful. If your protein intake is on track, the aminos aren't doing much on a rest day.

Can I take it with a pre-workout?
