The 8 Ingredients, and What Each One Does

Domin8 is fully disclosed — no proprietary blends hiding a token dose behind an impressive-sounding name. Here's what's in a full scoop:

• L-Citrulline Malate 2:1 — 8g — this is the headline number, and it's a big one. Most pre-workouts run 3–6g. Citrulline converts to arginine in the kidneys, raising nitric oxide production and dilating blood vessels for better blood flow, oxygen delivery and metabolic waste clearance. At 8g it's comfortably above the clinical range.
• Beta-Alanine — 3.2g — the exact clinical dose. Beta-alanine raises intramuscular carnosine, buffering the hydrogen ions that cause the burn and force you to stop. The tingle is paraesthesia — harmless, temporary, and unmistakable at this dose.
• Nitrosigine® — 500mg — a patented bonded arginine silicate complex, clinically supported across 30 studies. It works on the same nitric oxide pathway as citrulline but through a different entry point, which is why PVL call the pairing the "Dynamic Duo" — two routes to the same outcome produce a broader response than either alone.
• Two-stage timed-release caffeine — caffeine anhydrous for fast onset plus caffeine citrate for extended release. The dual-phase approach gives you a smooth ramp and a longer plateau instead of a spike and a crash.

Why Two Nitric Oxide Ingredients

Citrulline and Nitrosigine® both raise nitric oxide, but they get there differently. Citrulline converts to arginine in the kidneys and feeds the arginine–NOS–NO pathway. Nitrosigine® is bonded arginine silicate, delivering arginine in a form engineered for absorption and sustained blood arginine levels.

Running both means a broader and longer nitric oxide response than 8g of citrulline alone would produce. That's the pump, and it's also why the vascularity holds through a long session rather than fading after twenty minutes.

Electrolytes From Aquamin® and Pink Himalayan Salt

Aquamin® is a marine-sourced mineral complex derived from red algae, supplying calcium, magnesium and trace minerals in a bioavailable form. Combined with pink Himalayan salt, it covers the sodium and mineral losses that come with hard training.

This matters more than it sounds for a pump product. Nitric oxide widens the vessels, but you need adequate fluid and electrolyte status for the blood volume to fill them. Hydration and pump are the same problem.

Informed Choice Tested

Every lot is tested for banned substances under the Informed Choice programme. PVL manufacture in GMP-certified, federally registered facilities licensed to produce for over 100 countries, and their facilities don't handle banned anabolics or SARMs at all.

Directions

Mix one scoop with 250–300ml of cold water, 30–45 minutes before training.

Start with half a scoop. PVL recommend this themselves — the caffeine content is high and there's no reason to find your ceiling on day one. A half scoop also doubles your serve count to 40.

Don't exceed one scoop in 24 hours. Don't take within 6–8 hours of bed. Not suitable if you're caffeine-sensitive, pregnant, breastfeeding or under 18.

Mixing Note

High-dose citrulline and beta-alanine are naturally prone to clumping — it's a property of the raw materials, not a formulation fault. PVL include small amounts of waxy maize to keep the powder dry and fluffy. Shake it properly in a decent amount of water rather than stirring, and give it a few seconds to settle.

Dietary Information

Sugar-free. No synthetic colours. No aspartame. Non-GMO, plant-sourced ingredients including the vitamin B12. Formulated without gluten, soy, nuts or dairy, though produced in a facility that handles milk, soy and fish (collagen).
